When young Jennifer Walters is swept away and carried to the mysterious land Oz, she discovers that turning green is only the beginning of her troubles. But she follows the Rainbow Road and encounters a familiar cast of characters more in need of help than her; a rusty old Iron Man in need of a heart, a scarecrow whose lost his hammer and maybe his mind, and a brave old warrior who simply needs to find his courage. And just when they thought things couldn't get any worse, the Scarlet Witch of the West arrives to utter three ominous words... "No More Munchkins!”

She-Hulk Muscle FlexShe-Hulk Muscle FlexShe-Hulk is the alternate identity of Jennifer Walters, a somewhat meek and mild attorney and daughter of former Los Angeles County Sheriff William Morris Walters. Jennifer Walters became the She-Hulk after goons working for mobster Nicholas Trask shot her to punish her father for his anti-crime stance. Luckily, her cousin Bruce Banner (aka The Incredible Hulk) was in town and performed a blood transfusion between himself and Jennifer. His gamma-irradiated blood infected her cellular structure, endowing her with the ability to transform into the Savage She-Hulk!

Where her cousin appears ugly and frightening, the She-Hulk has the form of an amazon sexpot. While Jennifer initially behaved in a wild fashion similar to her cousin's alter-ego, she quickly gained a level of control he lacked. Soon the She-Hulk persona evolved into a less-restrained version of Jennifer Walters, rather than the almost mindless brute Bruce Banner became when he transformed.
