She-Hulk Circulation

She-Hulk #26 sales come in 26th

She-Hulk #26She-Hulk #26Well, Peter David's She-Hulk managed to shit the bed in February, racking up the lowest sales number of the whole run at 22,181 copies sold.

The crappy numbers are not entirely Peter David's fault, seeing as how comic books sales were down across the board last month. As a result of the downward momentum, the She-Hulk title managed to stay just inside the top 100 books. With luck that will immunize it against cancellation for the time being.

She-Hulk Sales Climb

Good news - according to ICV2, sales of She-Hulk #25 outstripped #24 by more than 1,300 copies, propelling She-Hulk back up into the top 100 titles for the month.

Those still aren't great numbers, but at least the downward spiral has been arrested. As long as we fans keep buying the book, we'll forestall cancellation. Even though the storyline may not be grabbing you, Shawn Moll's work is the best art any She-Hulk title has seen in a long time. You may find it's worth your time for the art alone.

Peter David Smash!

She-Hulk 24 Sales

Last month this site reported that Peter David's She-Hulk #23 had sold the second-lowest number of copies of any issue in the current run. High achiever that he is, in December 2007 Peter David went all out and set a new record for She-Hulk #24: LOWEST SALES TOTAL EVER!

He's made She-Hulk a monument to ignoring what readers want and abandoning what past creators have conceived. Let's give him a big hand. Way to go, smart guy.

Peter David's She-Hulk #23 is second-lowest seller ever

The November sales figures are out and the news isn't good for She-Hulk fans. Peter David's second issue on the comic is the second-worst seller in the history of the book, with fewer than 25,000 copies sold in November, according to ICV2.com.

The only issue with lower sales was She-Hulk #14, which was also the only issue not to show She-Hulk or Jen Walters on the cover. (#14 instead featured mute, faceless supporting character "Awesome Andy" making preparations to commit suicide.)
