Two New She-Hulks!

There are two major She-Hulk events this week, comics fans!

  1. Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk #4 - We learn the identity of the new Ultimate She-Hulk (who looks amazing!) and there may be a surprise in store for readers.
  2. All New Savage She-Hulk #1 - The green-skinned uber-daughter of Hulk and Thundra comes to New York and throws down with the original She-Hulk!

Now that the She-Hulk franchise has cast off the stink of the old writer, things seem to be improving rapidly.

Original Mike Mayhew She-Hulk Art on eBay

Mike Mayhew ArtMike Mayhew ArtThere's an auction on eBay for some terrific pencil art featured in a recent She-Hulk comic - Mike Mayhew Original She-Hulk 100 Double Page Spread. ("She-Hulk #100" was actually She-Hulk vol. 2, #3.)

The panels present a hypothetical scenario from the comic explaining how She-Hulk might be totally removed from existence as a penalty for violating the laws of the Time Variance Authority (TVA). The TVA has the power to erase She-Hulk from time, and an enforcement officer explains that there are other brawny Marvel heroines who could be used to "fill in" for She-Hulk at critical moments in her career, to prevent significant discrepancies. The three shown are Valkyrie, Power Princess (aka Zarda) and Thundra.

The art in the Mike Mayhew Original She-Hulk 100 Double Page Spread is original pencil art, and the current bid at this writing is $350. The auction end date is listed as Oct-23-07 13:30:00 PDT.
